Working with Natural Logarithms
Natural Logs
- Natural logs are essentially a log with base \(e\). E.G. \(\ln x=\log_{e}x\)
- \(e^{\ln x}=\ln(e^x)=x\)
Example of equations with natural logs
- \(e^{2x+3}=7\)
- \(2x+3=\ln7\)
- \(2x=\ln(7)-3\)
- \(x=\frac{\ln(7)-3}{2}\)
